About Givebio Pages

Givebio Pages is a way to group people together for a common purpose. It is also a way to present the bios, updates and charity support of the members of the respective Pages. You could think of Givebio Pages as similar to Twitter Lists but with much more to them.

A Givebio Page could represent a typical online group, team, branch, panel, board, fundraiser, event, committee, volunteers, etc.

 

Who can create a Page?

Only people (individuals) can create Pages. However, they can create Pages for themselves and for any Orgs they are administrators of.

 

User Pages

To add a Users Page:

  1. Click the + button in the top menu bar and select Add Page
  2. Select a Page type from the dropdown menu
  3. Enter a name for your Page
  4. Add an Introduction (max 200 characters). This is the text that appears on the summary blocks in lists and on hover so use it to let readers want to know more.
  5. Optional - Add a Description. Use the description field to inform readers and to promote you Page and tell its story. You can use emojis, hashtags and @names (learn more about @names on Givebio), along with formatted text and links.
  6. Optional - Enter a website URL if there is an external website for your Page.
  7. Optional - Select a Charity to link to. Any Charity thet you support will appear in this dropdown list.
  8. Enter the full URLs of social media profiles for the Page on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+ and Instagram
  9. Click the Submit button
  10. Click OK on the confirmation popup that follows and you will be taken to your new Page profile.

 

Org Pages

To add an Org Page - YOU MUST BE AN ADMINISTRATOR OF THE ORG PROFILE TO DO THIS!:

  1. Go to the Org profile you want to add a Page for.
  2. Click the Action dropdown and select Add Page (see image above)
  3. Select a Page type from the dropdown menu
  4. Enter a name for your Page
